We at Rkdia pride ourselves on our flexible and adaptable approach in everything we do. Not for us the straightforward package “this is what we do and nothing else” on this site you will find our published menus, services and prices. But please view these as the starting point for planning your event. We are always happy to change these to suit your personal preference, whether to match a theme, provide favourite foods or budget. All of the menus can be mixed and matched to bring together the right elements of tastes and flavours for your day. Head Chef Paul will work with you to produce the perfect menu whilst our front of house manager will work with you to produce the perfect service arrangements

Examples of the fabulous parties, family celebrations and events we worked at in 2014 include:

  • Conferences in company’s own premises and in external venues we have catered for events from 35 delegates to 200, lunch and refreshments throughout the day from arrival to departure.
  • Weddings and Mobile Bars in marquees, barns, Manor House, Grade II listed building, village halls.
  • Family Celebration and Party Christenings, children’s parties, 80th birthday parties, Silver wedding anniversaries, Golden wedding anniversaries.
  • Black Tie Dinners in marquees and in hired venues from 50 – 120
  • Annual General Meetings Proudly including the Women’s Royal Naval Service with their patron HRH The Princess Ann in attendance
  • Location Catering Catering for bands, backstage and event crews at music festivals.
  • Hog Roasts, BBQs and Mobile Bars For weddings, company award days, corporate days, fundraising events and community events.

Whatever the event you can be sure RKdia will there to support you in producing the occasion you want. You can choose and match the services you require. Whether a small family celebration or a small business event to a large wedding or big conference we are here to help and take great pride in contributing to make your event even more special. We can provide just the catering service delivering the food into your care or we can provide professional and friendly staff to lay up rooms with table linens, place settings and decorations and anything else you might need.

We have great relationships with many of the venues and locations in the area and understand the need to work in harmony with the venue management and know how to get the best out of it to produce the perfect day for you.

Our hire services include tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware and anything else needed to transform your venue into a stylish and eye catching room.

For all large events we provided a personalised quotation based on our discussions with you but please see below for details of the services we can provide for functions requiring a more informal style of catering.

Buffet Service Options 2016

RKdia finger buffets are delivered complete with attractive and disposable tableware, plates, quality paper napkins and table coverings; crockery and linen table cloths and napkins as an alternative to paper plates can also be provided if required. The following are indicative examples of our service extras and approximate costs.

Fully Inclusive Beverage Service and Waiting Staff

Lay out the buffet table, provide assisted service, prepare and serve freshly made filter coffee, tea, water, fruit juice. This service includes all crockery service items – plates, cups, saucers, tea spoons, glasses etc. Clear and remove all service items, crockery and waste on completion.

£2.50 per guest for first 25 guests £1.50 per guest thereafter

(Based on 1 ½ Hour service period, minimum of thirty guests)

E.g. Event with 50 guests = 25 x.£2.50 plus 25 x £1.50 = £100.00 inc VAT

Buffet Waiting Staff

Waiting staff to lay up the buffet table, provide an assisted service to your guests. This service includes all crockery plates. Clear and remove all service items, crockery and waste on completion.

£1.50 per guest for first 25 guests, 50p per guest thereafter

(Based on 1 ½ Hour service period, minimum of thirty guests)

E.g. Event with 50 guests = 25 x.£1.50 plus 25 x .50 = £50.00

Crockery Hire Only

Tea service including cups, saucers, sugar bowl, milk jug, tea pot, coffee pot, glasses, water jug (one per ten guests).

90p per guest E.g. Event with 50 guests = 50 x.90 plus = £45.00 Ten cup filter coffee machine with one insulated coffee jug and one silver coffee jug.


Hire charges include delivery 5 miles of PO8 9NN, collection and washing up on completion when ordered with a buffet. Modest delivery charges are applied outside this area.
